AUTISM OPEN GYM's, **On Hold** Autism Gym Class - Coming Soon “Stop being afraid of what can go wrong and start being positive about what can go right.” – Anonymous

INCLUSIVENESS Open Gym and Class

OPEN GYM “Sensory-Friendly Playtime for Kids on the Autism Spectrum”

Open Gym For Our Neurodivergent Children

GZG is here to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children with autism can participate in physical activities that promote fitness, social interaction, and sensory integration.

  • Sound: If your child has any noise-related issues, you may want to bring noise-canceling headphones.
  • Textures: Incorporate various textures in equipment to cater to different sensory needs.
  • Variety: Offer a range of equipment such as soft mats, balance beams, trampolines, and sensory balls.
  • Adaptability: Ensure equipment can be adapted to different skill levels and abilities.
  • Supervision: Parents must remain with their children and help them with their needs. A staff member will be on-site for safety and to help with any needs you may have.
  • Emergency Plans: If you have something that works well for your child in time of need, please relay that to our staff for assistance.
  • Feedback: We regularly seek feedback from parents to improve this program and to provide the best experience for you and your family.
  • Workshops: We are open to having workshops, and we hope that this is a way to bring the autism community closer together.

This open gym may change until we find what works best for you. Days and times may change, as may the number of children permitted at the open gyms. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
